The next stop was on the outskirts of Minehead, we had hoped to move on to Bristol but the site was fully booked. We moved on to Newport, a site in Tredegar country park. Drove to Treforest and Hopkinstown to visit some old haunts where Keith spent holidays as a young teenager. On to Pembury country park near Llanethli. Llanethli is the home of the Fenon Foil brewery, famous for Double Dragon bitter, no Keith was not allowed to stop.

Keith got out on his bike, the first time in years, and he enjoyed it.

One afternoon we both walked the two miles to Bury port where we had a drink, bought a newspaper and walked back. Sunday we motored on towards Pembroke driving into Tenby, not a good idea as we came to a dead end and had to turn around. Well, at least it provided some people with  entertainment.

Monday 11th ferry to Ireland. Journey was longer than anticipated. We celebrated by having Irish coffee on the ferry. Stayed for couple of nights not far from Rosslare, near to Our Lady’s lake, a very peaceful and attractive place. From there we moved on to Killarney. Today, Thursday, we drove the ring of Kerry. The weather was poor so we did not see it at its best. Driving, at times, was challenging. Been so long between blogs due to technical difficulties and the weather, too windy for satellite dish.
